Department of Law of Bu-Ali Sina University was established in 1996. This department is known as the most authentic department of law in the west of the country and the Scientific Committee of Law Olympiad of zone 8 of the country and the office of the western branch of the Association of Iran Studies of the United Nations are located in Bu-Ali Sina University which will join the faculty members of the university in near future. 

Currently the Department of Law admits tuition-free and paid students at B.A level, in subfields of Private Law, Criminal Law and Public International Law at M.A level, and subfields of Private Law and Public International Law in PhD. level.

The number of students at B.A level in the field of Law is 334. The total number of students in the three subfields of the M.A level is 118. At PhD. level, the number of students in the subfield of Private Law is 12 and the number in subfield of Public International Law is 4.

So far many students have graduated at the B.A and M.A level. PhD. courses were established in the second semester of 2011-12 academic year and so far 2 students have graduated at PhD. level.
